John Paul has been showing a preference for adult books in the past few months.  Apparently his most recent choice was A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.  Because, you know, what 2-year-old DOESN'T read Joyce?  

In all fairness though, he's 2 and 3/4.  

Cecilia was not so impressed.

And then, of course, the book fell by the wayside so that he could pose!

And we managed to keep the bow on her head long enough for at least a couple pictures...

Then she spent a while playing with an empty bouillon container.

And finished the day off with storytime with Dad!

Where have we BEEN?

Aunt Sister was here a couple of weeks ago, so we tried out a new playground!

Cecilia was happy to model her new hat.

And she was so excited to spot Aunt Sister ("Ghigguh")and John Paul ("Bubba")!!! 

Who made the best of a slightly broken fire truck...

Of course, swinging with Dad is ALWAYS the best!

Hooray!

And John Paul conquered every major climbing apparatus with no problem.  He's getting so big!
