Our sweet baby Margaret Mary went home to heaven on Friday, October 1st. We are absolutely devastated, and ask for your prayers as we adjust to life without our smiley little girl.
While we do so appreciate your prayers and support, please please do not reach out asking how you can help—with funeral arrangements and everyday life still going on, we don't have the capacity to respond to every well-intentioned inquiry. If you feel called to offer material support to help with meals, funeral preparations, grief counseling, and other needs, you can use any of the links below:
Edit: material needs are beyond covered, thank you so much!!
Alternatively, a parish friend and her daughter (my former choir student) are mourning the loss of their husband and father—Nicole is disabled and needs financial support more than we do, so please consider helping her if you are able. Here is the fundraiser for Nicole and her daughter, Ellie.
Thank you so, so much for your prayers. Please especially pray for the rest of our living children—while it is a small consolation that we can be assured that Margaret is certainly in heaven, we all still miss her desperately.
Oh Rosie!! I’m so so sorry for your whole family. I wish I could hug you and help you out physically but at least I can contribute something from afar. Please know the Martin Family will be praying lots of rosaries for all of you

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry Rosie. I cried when I read the news. I'm so heartbroken for your sweet family. Although, we've never met, I've been following your family for years and felt such a kinship to you and the growth of your family. Our family seemed to grow at the same pace as yours and you always gave me encouragement when I was overwhelmed. We currently have 7 kids 10 yrs and younger. We also have a Margaret Mary. God bless your sweet little Saint in heaven and we'll be praying for your family.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, Rosie. Your entire family will be in our prayers.

ReplyDeleteI am so deeply sorry for the loss of Margaret Mary. I know that love is more powerful than death, because of the redemption of our Savior, but oh, the depth of sorrow and unction in grief. Your family is in my prayers. Jesus and Mary love you so much, as you know, and they will help you through everything. God bless you.
