Well, we got through our first week of school... Actually, two weeks down at this point! I'm pretty proud of myself for actually managing to get our pictures taken on the very first day, even though it meant some rather interesting outfit choices. Edith has decided she really likes to have her shirts tucked in to her skirts, sometimes even tucked into the shorts that she layers under her skirts. It's amazing.

Lucy cooperated for the pictures MUCH better than I would have expected! Sure, I had a pocket full of animal crackers to bribe her with... But she didn't start fussing until Edith started manhandling her at the very end, and she happily held still for a picture! It's a first-day-of-school miracle!

Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures taken until after outside time, which meant Peter was absolutely filthy! If you look closely at his individual shot, you can see just how grimy he is... Ah well, one of the joys of homeschooling is the extra outside time we get!

Are you homeschooling this year? I'd love to hear how it's going!
