The oxeye daisies are going NUTS in the neighbor horses' pasture and they don't eat them, so there are plenty right by the fence for the kids to pick. They are so happy! Daisy necklaces, daisy crowns, daisy chains, daisy "ear cuffs" (which just look kind of like earrings?)... The possibilities are endless!
Meanwhile the cut flowers in the garden are blooming beautifully and we've been able to send lovely bouquets home with our CSA members, and have been having fun creating bouquets for our table every Sunday! Though we are mostly eating dinner outside, it is always lovely to have fresh flowers indoors, and it makes Sunday feel even more special.
