Happy Sunday! How do you like my scenic background? Cat in the driveway, grill, brick grill (how do you USE those things??), stuffed owl by my feet, and kitchen herb garden. One of these things is pretty!

Shoutout to Cecilia for taking a pretty good picture this week! The dress is a LulaRoe Amelia, worn backwards for nursing access but Edith DIDN'T NEED TO NURSE at Mass, which was pretty exciting. I got this hat on Prime Day sale, and it's nice and sturdy but also packable, so I anticipate it will last me a nice long time!
Mary Claire's dress is her Easter dress (all the girls wore theirs today), and I have to link to it for you, because these dresses come in a ton of colors & prints and are CUTE and the girls love them and wear them almost every week right now! They're on zulily pretty frequently, and if that link doesn't work because the dress is sold out, click here and search "A.T.U.N." and they might have others for sale.
She found an old medal of mine from high school All State Choir, and insisted on wearing that to Mass, because it's beautiful. If you haven't figured out that I pick my battles by now, here's an announcement: I pick my battles. She topped her outfit off with a Dollar Tree hat (the ONLY place worth buying kids' hats, trust me), and declared that she looked prettier than me. Because we're really good at humility.
Once we got to Mass, I tried to see if I could have her sit with someone else so that I only needed to deal with Edith (and so that she could be in the actual church, because Edith was already hollering happily, so I knew she'd need to be in the lobby), but she decided that she was too terrified and had to stay with me (John Paul went to Mass with Andrew, and Cecilia had gone earlier with my mom). So I stayed in the lobby with Edith slowly crawling around and Mary Claire reading the hymnal and loudly telling me every time she found a hymn she knows (there are a lot of them...). And I was thankful that the Mass is the Mass, because I heard almost none of it!
Your turn!
Post your outfit details & links or not, regale us all with your children's antics, reflect deeply on the readings, or just do a straight picture post - anything goes as long as you actually wore your outfit to church. The link-up is open until Friday, so you've got plenty of time to add your post!
Just a few ground rules before you link up:
1. Please include a photo of what you wore to church this week.
2. Please link back to this post in the body of your post, so your readers know where to find other posts (posts not mentioning "My Sunday Best" or not linking back to this post will be subject to removal).
3. Please visit some other posts in the link-up & leave a nice comment - this is all about affirming each other and building community, not just link dropping :)
4. Make sure the link you add is a link to your specific post or instagram picture (hashtag #mysundaybest and mention me in your caption, @rosiehill425 so I don't miss it!), not just your blog address.
5. Enjoy, and thanks for linking up!
