24/52: Aunt Sister, Nature Study, and Baby Grins

Wednesday, June 17, 2020

Aunt Sister has been visiting and everybody is going to cry when she has to leave again! She has read all the stories from her upcoming saint book for kids over and over again, and the kids keep asking for more—I think it's safe to say your kids will love it.

I went out to pick peas and was very confused by the presence of a little brown twig on one of the vines... Only to look closer and see that it wasn't a twig! I brought it in for nature study and we discovered it was a geometrid moth caterpillar, a member of the inchworm family. So interesting!

Lucy's curls have been amazing during this humid weather, and she brought me a bow the other day and asked me to put it in her hair. I couldn't resist!
