CrossTimber Name Bookmarks Review

Disclaimer: I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way.

We received five Name Bookmarks from CrossTimber, as well as their AmazingName Print Activity Sheets, and rather than have six older kids fight over five bookmarks, I figured the 3-year-old who is always complaining that she never gets any mail would be absolutely tickled by getting her own personalized bookmarks!

I know Edith's tastes pretty well - pink, kittens, and generally cute things. So it was pretty easy to use the categories on the site to find designs she would really enjoy, and she absolutely loved every single one! I asked her which was her favorite, and she gathered them all up and showed me the pink one. Then the kitten one. Then each other bookmark, at which point she told me they're ALL her favorites!

There are plenty of different designs to fit a range of ages and interests, and every bookmark comes with the meaning of that name, as well as an accompanying Scripture verse. Edith has been carefully keeping her bookmarks in her special treasure drawer, and any time she's interrupted in the middle of reading a book or even a catalog, she dashes over to the drawer and gets one of her Edith bookmarks! It's such a sweet, inexpensive way to make a child incredibly happy, and there are tons of personalization options. I think a bookmark or two would make an excellent stocking stuffer for a book-loving child! As you can see, even a non-reader can get good use out of these.

CrossTimber also sent a hard copy set of their AmazingName Print Activity Sheets - these are geared towards a wide range of ages, and they also sent a digital copy so that we can print these again and again! Edith is only three, so she wasn't ready for many of the activities included, but she loved benevolently giving the activity sheets to her siblings, who were especially clamoring for the maze pages! She was so excited to see her name in print, since it's one of the only words she can spell and read on her own.

From tracing to mazes to coloring, there's something for all ages in these activity pages, and the super-affordable price makes it a fun way to tailor a variety of activities to one child in particular, who is sure to feel special with such personalized attention! In addition to all this, there is also handwriting practice in multiple styles (cursive and print), word searches, and more. Twenty eight activity pages are definitely enough to keep a child occupied for quite a while!

CrossTimber has a wide variety of Name Meaning Gifts, and they put a lot of research into their name meanings. Once I put in my order, John emailed me to make sure I had meant to order 5 different bookmarks with the same name, which I really appreciated! This is a family business, and the owners will go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied with their product. If you're looking for a unique gift idea, CrossTimber is a great place to start your search!
