Just Because: Volume 4

Monday, February 8, 2021

Happy Monday! A quick reminder that February is the shortest month, and soon it will be Lent (Speaking of which, here are all my helpful links for Lent in one place!) and then it will be Easter and then warm weather has to be on the horizon, right? Flowers! Sunshine! My apologies to those of you in Canada and the like, who have so much longer to wait than others of us...

I shared a few weeks ago about our friends' daughter, Celine, who was in the hospital after being involved in an accident and being severely burned: She is home from the hospital and doing amazingly well! The family is so, so grateful for all your prayers and now looks forward to welcoming their newest baby without the prospect of juggling one child in the hospital while another is being born at home!

I caught up on my week by week posts this week, and that's about it - substantive blogging isn't something I'm able to make much time for right now (so much pre-reading to do for the 11-year-old's schoolwork!!), but I can keep up with these little posts! Last week I shared about our new Nugget, as well as another fun way the kids used it to act out a Nativity scene. This week you'll get to meet our new house plant!

Want to join in?

Challenge yourself to post *once* (or more!) every week, and spend a little time visiting other blogs too—it's more fun blogging when you know someone's reading it besides you, after all. I'll post this linkup every Monday morning for at least the next month or two, and we'll see if this makes old fashioned blogging a little more enjoyable for us all!

Make sure to link back to *this post* so your readers have a chance to discover some new blogs, as well! And feel free to use this image for your post if you need one! (Please be sure to link to an individual post, not just your blog in general.)

I *love* reading your kind comments and will always try my best to reply right here in the comment box so we can keep the conversation going! If you have a blog of your own, please do link to it so I can visit back :)
