What's the best way to accomplish a photo dump of a blog post? Link-ups!
{pretty}
The ice on the tree branches - plenty of them are lying broken in our yard but thankfully nothing fell on any power lines, so our power stayed on! I know many others who weren't so lucky... It's beautiful but treacherous!
{happy}
In from the snow and warming up with some snuggles!
(And the first of my dozen snow day pictures - totally counts for TT, right? I really should just have saved last week's picture and used it, because it fits the dozen theme too!)
Not exactly the most sincere smile...
{funny}
Gotta love those faces!

I was thinking, "Man, I wish we had a pregnant Mary so that she and Joseph could travel to Bethlehem..." and then I went down to get our nativity and remembered that we had BOUGHT a pregnant Mary last year during the after-Christmas sales! She's a rather small pregnant mama, but I love that she's riding the donkey on her way to Bethlehem.

Okay, triple link-up! Sweet! Go check out more "dozen" takes at Clan Donaldson, more PHFR at Like Mother, Like Daughter, and more advent wreaths at CatholicMom.com
LOVE the faces on the slide.
ReplyDeleteI want it to snow so bad here so the girls can have a blast playing in it!!!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't happen often here, so we had to take advantage of it immediately!
DeleteThe snow pictures are so golden! Love!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I got some - this might be the only time it actually snows this year!
Deletewe did the ol' fake wreath from craft store/candle holders for our advent wreath too. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have a pregnant Mary, too. I love her so much. She stands over our empty manger until Christmas day and baby Jesus is brought out of baby Jesus exile (which I'm always afraid I'm going to forget where that is). Then she looks like gloriously post-partum Mary.
ReplyDeleteThat's perfect! Maybe I'll pretend that Mary and Joseph are on their way to Egypt after Epiphany, and we can get a little toddler Jesus to travel along with them ;)
DeleteI decided that we NEEDED an expectant Mary statue this year too; I managed to control myself from buying the beautiful $50 one I found online. I am planning to frame a picture I found online for this year (hey, there's still almost 2 weeks of Advent, right?) and try to find a good deal so that next year we can have the statue!
ReplyDeleteThose bundled up little faces are adorable, Rosie!
ReplyDeleteIf it gets really cold, run a hose down your slide or pack some snow into it and then pour water on top. Talk about fast! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm reading this post while sitting in my living room with two other people who are watching a basketball game, and I took the laptop over to each of them saying, you have to look at these kids flying off a slide in the snow :) Too cute! And they agreed!
ReplyDeleteLooking at pictures of kids playing in the snow always makes me wish I didn't hate it so much! We didn't go out with this last storn because everyone is already under the weather and I don't want to make it worse. Hopefully we'll catch another (small) storm that will give them something to play in!
