And all the parents start sobbing because now our kids are still up before the sun AND the clock reads a depressingly early hour...
It's Elizabeth's feast day today, and when I asked if she would like an apple pie for her feast day treat (the pie I was already planning on making...), she was so excited! Really and truly, kids who will happily take suggestions for feast day treats instead of making me take extra effort are my favorite. She's also chosen breakfast burritos as her "special" feast day dinner, and I don't really understand when or why breakfast burritos became the go-to "special" meal, but... Okay?
Mary Claire requested a veil, a picture, and then took off the veil because it was too itchy. But don't worry, she and Cecilia fought over Cecilia's veil during Mass. Of course. The baby who was up in the middle of the night and who barely napped in the morning and was LONG overdue for her afternoon nap was the least of my behavior concerns today...
Well, perhaps I should've looked at this picture before we left for Mass... The shirt tucked? Not good. These proportions are just all off! You win some, you lose some.
