Just Because, Volume 7

Monday, March 1, 2021

Monday, here we go again! We really enjoyed the warm, sunny weather this past week, and I can't believe it's already March!! I'm on the lookout for crocuses in our yard, but I haven't seen anything yet... I think everything needs to dry out a bit after all the rain we've gotten, and the snow only *just* finished melting. Hopefully we get some sunny days this week to dry things out, because we're going to get started planting our cold crops in the next couple weeks!

This week I posted a no-recipe recipe (how is that a thing? It's all about the gist of things without specific measurements) for black bean soup, which I've been making every week. I also got a rather uneventful week by week post up, and of course now I'm behind on those...

Challenge yourself to post *once* (or more!) every week, and spend a little time visiting other blogs too—it's more fun blogging when you know someone's reading it besides you, after all. I'll post this linkup every Monday morning for at least the next month or two, and we'll see if this makes old fashioned blogging a little more enjoyable for us all!

Make sure to link back to *this post* so your readers have a chance to discover some new blogs, as well! And feel free to use this image for your post if you need one! (Please be sure to link to an individual post, not just your blog in general.)

  1. It's pretty soggy over here for us too. What cold crops do you plant? I have a total black thumb but always enjoy seeing what other people manage to grow!

    1. Cabbages, kale, broccoli, bok choy, and lettuce are the big ones!
