I was trying a new combination of pieces this week, and I don't think it really worked... Really, I will get a full-length mirror one of these days! But hey, I might as well post it because I'm forcing myself to take a picture every day this month and isn't Mary Claire just the cutest?
My sister's visiting and unconsciously, we all coordinated stripes! Although Mary Claire didn't go to Mass, since she and Elizabeth desperately needed naps right when it was time to leave. So I brought John Paul and Cecilia with me in what was perhaps the worst they have EVER behaved at Mass. Think screaming 4-year-old having to be carried out while yelling, "I WANT TO BE GOOD!!!"
I need not to dwell on it. It was that bad. I will spare you any other details.
Linking up with Fine Linen & Purple.
We were striped out in blue today also! I love the two skirts here.
ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't even dress the baby, my husband did! Apparently we were all thinking stripes today :)
DeleteAll three of you look cute!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love all the stripes!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure you could wear a rain poncho with that skirt and it'd still look good...I like this outfit even if you felt like you may have missed the mark! Happy Stripey Sunday :)
ReplyDeleteHa! I should totally try a rain poncho next time :P
DeleteI love your outfit! However, I'm wondering how you did not die of heat stroke wearing a shirt and sweater?!? Are you one of those enviable people who is always cold and never sweats?
ReplyDeleteSUPER air-conditioned church, plus we were at the 8:30 Mass so it hadn't gotten too warm yet. But it was 90+ degrees by the time we got home, so I shed the sweater pretty quickly!
DeleteI love how you and your sister have matching skirts AND matching smiles.
ReplyDeletewhatever, I think it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love all the stripes...and I love your outfit..but I'm also wondering how you managed to wear a sweater in July?? I'm guessing your church must be one of those REALLY COLD a/c ones, where they turn the a/c down super low.
ReplyDeleteYes, SUPER cold! I kind of love it, because it makes it easier to layer and not worry about modesty :) Although Cecilia strips off her sweater every week without fail...
DeleteLove all the stripes! All 3 of you look good!
ReplyDeleteLove the matching stripes- too cute! And I don't have a full-length mirror either and am seriously putting it on my Christmas list (if I can wait that long).
ReplyDeleteI actually really like your outfit, so maybe I have bad taste too? or maybe you are just being too critical!
ReplyDeleteGive Meg a big hug for me! Ellen says, "I want more fun with Meg!!"
ReplyDeleteCuteness all around! Love your sis' hat too!
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit & all the cute stripes! Also, I was thinking it would be really cute with a crisp, white blouse - very polished. Granted, I am typing this while wearing the world's largest pair of denim maternity capris and a hot pink t-shirt, so I am hardly a paragon of fashion :)
ReplyDeleteLove all those stripes!! Way to coordinate!
ReplyDeleteI like the stripes! You did good, girl!
