WIWS, this week I'm on time!

Here I am in an extremely versatile polka dot pleated skirt (seriously, fit me all the way through the twin pregnancy) from f21, Express turtleneck, and Nine West pumps that I rescued from being tiny slides for mama bear and baby bear.

Cecilia, being the cutest child ever (have you SEEN her in pigtails?), was rocking her very own toddler-sized chapel veil (From Aquinas and More, thanks for the rec Dwija!).

I think all the kids are rocking repeat outfits, including the (not pictured) sleeping Elizabeth.  Because when you're awake until 10:30 PM and up at 7 AM, you need to take a nap at 8.

Our mantel is decorated a little better than last week - we even put up our ghetto Lenten prayer chain (yeah, I didn't have purple paper, so it's multicolored...).  And it's honestly the one thing that gets John Paul to the dinner table every night, the prospect of learning who we're praying for TONIGHT!!!  This is the kid who was at his most joyful when dressed like Juan Diego...  He was SO excited the other night because we were supposed to pray for everyone who lives in the cold and he read it and said, "I'm praying for myself!!!  I was outside in the cold!!!"  We might need an ordinary time prayer chain, too!

Okay, go check out better dressed ladies here!

  3. Cute family, like so cute! I've seen a few cute skirts from F21 in fashion posts recently - I've been there before but was a bit overwhelmed to actually buy anything, but I think I'll have to stop in next time I'm in Denver.

    1. Thanks! I've found online shopping is the way to go with forver 21 - that way you don't have to deal with the overwhelming selection or the teenagers!

  4. Oh I am loving that outfit almost as much as I am loving Cecilia's veil! I used to veil, but once I had kids it just became too much of a hassle. The kids kept pulling it off, and don't get me started on nursing while wearing a veil! I know, lame excuse!

    1. Thanks! The skirt is unfortunately voluminous enough that Cecilia tried hiding under it after Mass... Thankfully everyone was gone!

We'll see how veiling goes once mine comes - the babies are just starting to get grabby so it may be short-lived!

  9. You all look spiffy. Your skirt is adorable--my favorite shade of green. Your daughter looks like an absolute angel in that chapel veil. And I'm so impressed with your JP; he's sort of amazing, isn't he? I wonder if he'll have a calling to the priesthood?
